Events in and around Ulladulla

As the seasons turn in and around the picturesque town of Ulladulla, there's no shortage of outdoor activities and events to enjoy. Whether you're looking for a relaxing beach day, adventurous hiking trails or want to immerse yourself in local culture, there's something for everyone here.

Spring:
Spring brings warm weather and beautiful blooming wildflowers in the area. It's the perfect time to hit the hiking trails at Pigeon House Mountain or the Budawang National Park for some breathtaking views. Additionally, the Milton Markets held every first Saturday of the month is perfect for buying local produce and handicrafts.

Summer:
As the temperatures soar, Ulladulla's beautiful pristine beaches come to life. Fisherman's Paradise Beach and Rennies Beach are just some of the stunning spots to explore and enjoy some surfing, swimming or soak up the sun. The Harbour Celebration event held every January near the local harbour is a perfect place to enjoy some live music, entertainment, and fireworks.

Autumn:
The cooler season brings about lush greenery, waterfalls & local winemaking. Visitors can participate in the annual Harvest Festival in March to sample local produce and wines. For a more self-pampering experience, book a spa day at Bannisters Day Spa, which includes a sauna, facials, and massages.

Winter:
Finally, winter dinners and adventures await. Ulladulla is a foodie haven, so indulge in a range of culinary treats from the award-winning restaurants or local markets. Early winter is the time for whale watching while the southern right whales make their annual migration. Visitors can book a whale watching tour and enjoy the sights as the whales return to warmer waters.

It's clear that Ulladulla offers something for all, from adventure-seeking adventurers to those seeking a more relaxed stay. For more information on events and activities or to book accommodation, contact the Ulladulla Visitor Information Centre at (02) 4455 1269.
